How We Can Help
Gayle believes that the key components to living a happy, successful life include maintaining functional thought patterns, effectively communicating needs and emotions to others, and cultivating a strong sense of self. After exploring the origin of your distress, Gayle will help you identify counterproductive thought patterns and teach you how to challenge them to bring about personal growth.
Gayle earned a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from The University of Kansas, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The University of Iowa. Through her clinical training, Gayle learned to help clients create change with the use of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy. Gayle has also been trained in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
As your therapist, Gayle will provide a non-judgmental environment for you to learn more about yourself, practice new forms of communication, identify and achieve goals, improve your relationships, and overcome trauma.
